Waffle House in Amite

I will never be back, if I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. Hair in the food, caught the lady drop my waffle and catch it with her hands. Just disgusting I wouldnt reccomend this place to a dog.

They were fast and friendly! Waffles!!🍳🍔🥓🥞

Not good at all. Was not greeted by the employees until got their attention that were sitting there. Order was not correct, had to send it back several times. Was not a good day for waffle House.

Great food, great atmosphere, great service. I asked for extra pickles and got a big smile in return, plus a lovely pile of pickle slices on my plate. I recommend this location to anyone and everyone.

Grits and eggs were really good. Waitress was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back!

Very poor service, when open table and counters were full of dishes, weighted for someone to talk to but ignoresld. they kept walking by us and ignoring us, purposely literally ignoring us. Love waffle houses, but not this one, poor service the worst I've ever had at any waffle House by far.I even went and stood at the cash register if I was going to pay with my wife and was ignored. We were the only ones in the restaurant waiting and I still was ignored. there was plenty of staff, only a server and the cook was working, the rest just standing around. just did not want to help us , this was the second time today we were in the restaurant had to leave won't return . They need a good manager to take charge.

The food came out warm and delicious

First I’d like to say I love the Waffle House. However this location is the slowest Waffle House ever! As I sit here with half my food others are walking out having given up. I bet management loves to hear money is walking out the door!!!!

Great food, clean restaurant, and above average Waitress. It was just noisy, but I think that's normal for that place.

Always a friendly staff and prompt service. Orders are precise, place is always clean. Day shift is the best. The older waitresses make it a down home experience.

Our order wasn't right, didn't have great service, and my friend found a roach crawling on his napkin.

This place does not accept to go orders.No one answers the phone at this location. Passed by this location and to many people acting crazy in the parking lot. Didn’t look safe!

The waitress was superb.. friendly attentive and on top of it . Really appreciated the attention after driving 6 hrs thru the night. Only 3 stars because the food was not tasty at all and the restroom needed some much needed attention.

An excellent place to dine as well as start a career. As an employee, weekend nights earned me 120 to 130 per night. This job helped in buying me a car, mobile home, and raise my son. Thanks Waffle House.

I have been coming to waffle house since hurricane Katrina. It was open while other places were closed. IT WAS THERE when I needed it. I was directed to a special that was in my senior citizen budget. Lady at the amite la branch was kind and up-beat.

I had a double bacon burger. My spouse had the sausage egg bowl. It was all great. Cooked the way we wanted. We had fresh coffee. It was quiet, peaceful.

Hey, a lot of things suck during covid. Waffle House Amite may be struggling too, but they are doing their best and getting customers served and still providing what you expect from Waffle House including the smiles!

I love their breakfast!

Kat is definitely the reason I'd go back
